Is Just Love Enough ?? – Final Installment

Arun opened the door.. and was clearly shocked to see Ipsita standing there, the expressions on his face were enough to convey the fear , anger, confusion, guilt that he was feeling right at that moment. Both stood still, neither saying a word, but yet a lot was being conveyed. She left the place,  knowing her most deepest and dreaded fears had come true. There she was, walking in unknown lanes, not knowing the destinations, feeling as if something inside will explode. After almost half an hour she stopped at a bench near a garden , sat and cried her heart out; she wanted to let it out – the anger of being cheated on, the dissapointment of being lied to, the sorrow of loosing the love of her life, the sadness of being left alone. Her mind was flooding wiht thoughts- Was she responsible for driving him away? Should she try and give their relationship a second chance? would she be able to to survive on her own ? The phone started ringing, it was arun.. her breath stopped for a moment- deciding if she should pick and ask him to take her with him, to tell him that she still loved him, that she wanted to save the marriage, to be back to being in love. But she did not take the call, it kept on ringing continously. She did not realise how mch time had passed, suddenly realised a familiar voice calling her name .. it was arun. For some time arun kept on explaining, she was blank, couldn’t listen to what he was saying. She heard him saying sorry and asking her to forget what had happened… she looked at him, with a new found confidence in herself , a newly discovered self esteem and asked Arun,” if i would have done that , would you have been able  to forgive me ?” His head fell.. answering the question in negative, and that cleared the thoughts in her mind. She walked away.. from the infedility, mistrust, lies, broken promises… she walked towards HERSELF !!!!!!
