Being in a relationship…

The moment we make our debut in this world , we get bonded or i should say more often BINDED , by the myriad of relationships around us. The web of these relationships, after a time becomes so strong, we start defining ourselves around them. Someone’s daughter, son, brother, sister, wife, etc etc. And one of the most important relationship tends to fade and loose its significance among these. What is that relationship? It is the relationship we have with our SELF.

As we grow up , we start socializing , we start enjoying and craving for company and the need for being around others keeps getting ingrained in the subconscious. Being alone is not cool or is often unwanted and uncomfortable. But if we get back a little to the roots , we will see, it is always in the solitude that peace and wisdom is attained. The power of  subconscious is immense and uncanny, provided we trust it, and have the ability to know it.

This world is increasingly becoming chaotic and this rise in entropy around is maddening at time. Try taking some time out for being in the company of just yourself. Embrace the silence and surrender to the nature. For that moment, try and shift your mind from the everyday issues, from the arguments, from the heartaches, from the worries, from the regrets….. It will be one of the most humbling experience you will ever have.

It is not just okay to be alone for some time, in fact is necessary to keep the connection with the soul alive.

So next time you get a time off, allow yourself to be in your own company and enjoy the solitude.

Someone who thinks too much, has opinions about almost everything on face of this earth, a bit disoriented from the usual & normal way of living , and overtly disconnected from the mainstream. A voracious reader, food lover, and a movie buff with creative streaks here and there.
